Every store has it’s own coupon policy. If you are serious about using coupons, it’s important that you keep a copy of each store’s coupon policy in your coupon binder for easy reference. Some employees are pretty well versed on their store’s coupon policy, but to make life easier on you and the cashier, it’s best to know ahead of time what to expect.
Special note on “computer printed” coupons. Most stores will take them, as long as they SCAN. If the barcode will not scan, many stores will not take them. I’ve also found that many “locally-owned” grocery stores for me will not accept computer printed coupons at all.
Below are links to the coupon policies for various stores. I suggest you print them, and keep them with you in your coupon binder.
